On the occasion of “Canto Pagano” thirtieth anniversary (originally produced by Alberto Pirelli and David Bowie’s guitarist Mick Ronson), Contempo is proud to reissue one of italian New Wave most significant release of the eighties.
MODA (Andrea Chimenti, Fabrizio Barbacci, Fabio Chiappini, Fabio Galavotti, Nicola Bonechi) recorded this album in January/February 1987 at Transeuropa studio in Torino. Guest musicians were Gianni Maroccolo (Litfiba’s bassist and founder), Mick Ronson (beside his production role and his guitar featuring he also wrote one song) and Francesco Magnelli.
Artwork by Fabio Galavotti, original cover artist, enhanced with a selection of photographs of those years.
Limited edition of 300 copies, numbered by sticker, 180gr white vinyl.
First 150 copies include an extra cardboard insert reproducing the original cover.
